Last Minute Grammar (1) Past Simple & Past Participle

As the title suggests, these worksheets are for last minute preparation. Again, it takes around 5 – 10 minutes for students to finish one page.

Why has WishGrass designed these teaching materials?

WishGrass designs teaching materials to solve real problems in class. These two sets of worksheets have been designed to solve the below problems:

Problem 1: (Desperately) “I can’t remember all the irregular verbs before my exam. What should I do?”

Solution 1: Students should always try their best to revise all the things they have learned. However, some struggling students will be in despair if you tell them so one day before their exam. I will give them some lists in which easier and more common verbs come first. So even if they cannot remember them all, they will be able to revise and learn the most basic ones.

Problem 2: “I have already remembered all the past and past participles.”

Solution 2: “Show me then.” Haha. Some students are confident or they are simply fed up with irregular verbs. I will ask all students to complete the whole set at least once and then highlight the wrong answer for them. If they don’t have time to finish the whole set before their exam, at least they can review the highlighted areas.
